Adding a property
To add one property
- From the dashboard, click Properties in the top nav.
- Click + New property in the top right.
- Fill in the basics:
- Address line 1 (e.g. "42 Pembroke Road")
- Address line 2 (optional — apartment number, building name)
- Town/City (e.g. "Ballsbridge")
- County (e.g. "Dublin")
- Eircode (optional but recommended)
- Click Save.
You'll be taken to the property's detail page where you can add a tenancy, upload the lease, and start tracking issues.
To add multiple properties at once
If you've got more than five properties, use Bulk upload via CSV instead — it takes a fraction of the time.
What happens after you add a property
Anchorlet creates a dedicated record with spaces for:
- Tenancy details — current tenant, lease start/end, rent amount
- Documents — leases, BER certs, gas safety certs, insurance
- Issues — any maintenance or tenant concerns, with escalation timers
- Mail — tenant emails routed to this property
- Contractors — who you use for this property
The property isn't registered with the RTB from inside Anchorlet — you still do that at rtb.ie. But once you've registered, you can store your RTB reference number on the property record so it's easy to find later.
