Inviting your property manager

If someone else handles your day-to-day lettings — tenant emails, maintenance coordination, rent collection — you can give them access to your portfolio so they can work inside Anchorlet alongside you.

To invite a property manager

  1. Go to Settings → Team.
  2. Click Invite team member.
  3. Enter their email address.
  4. Choose their role — usually Property Manager.
  5. Click Send invitation.

They'll get an email with a link to join. The link is valid for 14 days.

What they can do

A property manager invited to your portfolio can:

  • View all properties, tenants, and issues
  • Reply to tenant emails from the Anchorlet Mail tab
  • Create and update issues
  • Upload documents
  • Use Elliot to ask questions about your portfolio

They cannot:

  • Delete your portfolio
  • Change your billing or plan
  • Invite other team members (only you can, as the owner)
  • Access any of your other portfolios

What they'll see

Your property manager will only ever see the portfolio you invited them to. If they also manage properties for other landlords, those portfolios stay private. Each portfolio is a separate, isolated workspace.

Changing or revoking access

At any time you can go to Settings → Team and either:

  • Change their role (e.g. demote to read-only)
  • Remove them entirely — their access ends immediately

If your property manager also manages other clients

If the person you're inviting also runs their own book of landlord clients and wants to use Anchorlet for them too, they can do that. When they accept your invite, they'll be asked if they also want to run their own portfolios. If they say yes, they get access to your portfolio as your PM and the ability to create their own workspaces for their other clients. These are kept completely separate.
